Seriously, go through Hisoka's resume and you'll find him clowning on inexperienced versions of Gon, off screening low tier Troupe members, killing a Zoldyck butler, and getting killed by Chrollo. If you want to talk accomplishments, earning the acknowledgement of a high tier is vividly superior to anything Hisoka has done. I sincerely doubt Hisoka is replicating such a performance. However, that doesn't detract from the fact that Kite was a worthy enough opponent to serve as a metric for Pitou's own power, and Kite was severely handicapped to boot. Yes, Pitou is stronger than Kite, and yes she only gets stronger from here as she develops Nen. After all, beating up a toddler would hardly prove to myself that I am strong. If Kite was truly fodder to Pitou, this entire scene wouldn't make sense. But that isn't enough to beat someone on Kite's level.īy comparison, Killua stated that Kite without an arm was still more powerful than him and Gon together the first time they fought the Chimera Ants. He gets into fights and goes all out with no regard and that usually is enough to win him the fight before he dies. Hisoka isn't overly strong, he is reckless. He needed a character with healing powers to reattach his arm afterwards. Hisoka actually lost an arm fighting some lame-ass fighter in the Heaven's Arena that had barely just discovered Nen and didn't know how to use it properly. What feats does Hisoka have that trump beating Chimera Ants again? The only character worth something that he beat in the anime was the Zoldyck Butler, and that guy was probably below Killua and Gon's tier. Kite didn't fight "low-level" Ants, he fought the strongest type of Ants save for the Royal Guards themselves. Unless you got any scans to provide saying otherwise.įirst of all, your first sentence literally doesn't make sense. Honestly Hisoka at least has feats we can use for him Kite has nothing of worth. An also a few scenes of him fighting low level gathering ants not anyone remotely impressive. Yet here people are falling for his the only hype train here is Kite being a fodder against Royal Guard with off screen battle an few words hype from Gin. He hyped himself as being strong enough to take on Chrollo head-on and got beaten hard. He hyped himself as being strong enough to take on Netero and that is just laughably wrong. Meanwhile it's perfectly obvious that Hisoka isn't the top of the foodchain like he claims to be. Kite, even with one of his "low-tier" weapons, was dealing with powerful Ants while using the entire affair as a way to teach Gon and Killua. But the heroes fighting the Ants are almost certainly on the same tier as the Phantom Troupe's strongest members save for Chrollo. It's hard to tell exactly how Kite scales to most of the characters because the Chimera Ant Arc took place apart from most of the things the Phantom Troupe and Hisoka are usually involved in. Except Kite actually survived and now has what may potentially be the strongest body outside of the Dark Continent save for Meruem himself. And Hisoka would have been slaughtered by Pitou just as easily as Kite. Kite may not have had many feats but he was dealing with everything thrown at him casually until Pitou appeared. Hisoka only even managed to stand a chance of hurting Chrollo because CHrollo gave him that chance, and even then Hisoka lost hard.īy comparison, Silva fought Chrollo and survived at a time when Chrollo was probably doing his best to kill, since Silva was after his organization. Furthermore, Chrollo was humoring him and telling him what abilities he was using to fight. If Chrollo had decided to just blow up Hisoka like he had planned earlier, Hisoka would have been done for. And he only managed to use said ability because Chrollo allowed his body to remain untouched after dying. Hisoka was straight-up killed by Chrollo, only managed to land a couple of hits and only came back because of the asspull Nen reanimation ability. But Gon was able to tag him and avoid being detected by him before even unlocking Nen. Hisoka had a lot of hype because he was facing literal children at the beginning of the series and killing fodder. People mistake Hisoka's eagerness to fight the strongest people ever with him actually being able to defeat those people he isn't.
